Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnifiers or high-contrast settings.

What we have done

• Semantic HTML5 landmarks — header, navigation, main and footer — on every page.
• A single, descriptive H1 heading per page and a logical heading order.
• A "skip to main content" link as the first focusable element.
• Visible keyboard focus outlines on every link, button and form field.
• Text and background colour combinations chosen for contrast.
• Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images; decorative images omitted from the accessibility tree.
• Forms with explicit labels, and a mortgage calculator that works without a mouse.
• Layouts that reflow down to mobile widths and remain usable when text is enlarged.
• No content that relies on colour alone, no auto-playing media and no time limits.

Known limitations

Some property photographs come from the company's original archive and are low resolution; their alternative text describes the property and its address. Legacy pages that were once part of a HTML frameset now redirect to a single accessible page.
